With the recent flooding going on in Alabama and Tennessee, we need to make sure our properties have not been damaged.

To that end, the Disaster Inspection Certification form will be required for any subject property that has an appraisal dated within the “incident period” for any county located in a federally declared disaster area.

Please check this website to ensure that your subject properties are not located in a disaster area with an appraisal dated within the incident period.

If you do, the Disaster Inspection Certification form will be a requirement as a PTC…and will NOT be moved to a PTF.

Example:

Announcement 1908 relates to Alabama.  Go to the website above, and click on the form number for the Alabama announcement.  Then click “Designated Counties.”  The following page will give you the counties affected and the incident dates.

Thanks.
