Please see the basic criteria for any file requiring an exception to policy (ETP).

Please get with Jerry Lair re: the proper process for requesting an ETP from our exception desk.

1. 45% or less DTI.

2. 2 months PITI

3. No lates in last 24 months on any mortgage listed on credit report, including mortgages that are showing paid.

4. BK (any type), if any, closed at least 24 months prior to application date

5. DU approval

Hopefully, the above information will help you ascertain whether or not a file might be approved for exception prior to sending it.
