Subject: Proper Licensing vs 1003 Info

To the field,

Recently in reviewing a file submitted by a company that has multiple branches I noticed a problem that we need to resolve.  The institution was based out of FT. Lauderdale, FL.  The Loan officer in GMOS was based out of MO and was not tied to a MO branch but tied to the FL institution.  The initial 1003 was from a loan officer in Baton Rouge, LA.    I will be talking with Underwriting this week and we will be adding a check that will compare the initial 1003 with the GMOS user.  If they don’t match the loan will not be able to close until we have a 1003 that matches with the correct NMLS info on it or the Loan Officer that is on the 1003 is set up in GMOS with proper licensing. 

We cannot close loans for loan officers that are not properly licensed.
