It’s possible that we could do the deal, yes.  We would need something from the employer stating the terms of her “assignment” in Afghanistan.  Also, we would need proof that she is the one making the house payments, and not the sister. 

Wwill this be an FHA file or Conventional?

I have a borrower who has a condo in northern VA. She wants to refinance it as a rate and term.

She is currently working in Afghanistan, and her sister is living and caring for her

Children in her condo. Is this loan something we can do and what kind of special documentation

would be needed if any?
